Bazaar Zine

In the ‘about’ page of this blog I mention that it’s not just a space to show off crafty work from Bazaar, it’s also a space where I hope to generate discussion and interest in other issues that impact on living as a member of a community, any community.

To that extent, I’ve just finished my first Zine and am really proud of it! I’m putting one in each package that goes out with my Fund It rewards, and will also post them to a few people who have already expressed interest and am also popping one in the post for all the contributors. I’m hoping to do a series of Zines, so I’ve created a whole separate page here for them on the site. The first is on the theme of ‘…re…’

I have saved the zine as a complete PDF but the file size is massive! I’m not at home while writing this, so as soon as I get home I’ll scan the whole thing again in a smaller format and will change the one I’ve already uploaded so it’ll be easier to access. In the meantime, if you’re curious, there is a doc there but, be warned, it’s huuuuuuuuge!

Enjoy!

UPDATE: Thanks to wonderful Jovita in the comments below it’s all sorted so read away without fear of 20 minute download times!

UPDATE 2: I used an earlier version of CarolAnnes Bean Can Bread and need to update the zine. In the meantime, if you decide to try the recipe, don’t go for the ring-pull type cans – they won’t work so well!

  1. Aisling do you know about issuu.com? Might be a way to publish your zine .. you can embed it on your site too so it can be flipped through like a magazine.

  2. Oh I didn’t know about that Jovita, thanks a million for the tip. I’ll see what I can do about making mine more reader friendly!
