It’s a little early for this information but lots of people have been asking me for the details and rather than sending out a heap of emails with copy/paste info I can just send a link with all of it together!
I’m so excited that we’re preparing for two different Christmas markets in Brussels this December. I’m also super anxious and spending every moment behind my sewing machine in case I don’t have enough stock. It’s the first time I’ve done something like this and there are a heap of worries, including the big one – will I actually sell anything?! Eek!
As I have no pictures of Christmas things just yet I hope you enjoy this picture of my very cynical cat watching my progress. he’s not impressed…
We’ve prepared quite a range of different things, including small little pillows and hearts to brighten up your rooms! We have a few new collections that I featured in a previous post including some unseen pieces that I’m very proud of! You’ll find cushions, lampshades and quilts suitable for living rooms, babies rooms and your own bedroom.
Saturday 15 December :: Marché de Noël de Laeken
From 1 to 9pm you can find Agnès and myself camped out at Rue Emile Wauters 160, in the Marché de Noël de Laeken. It’s a covered market in the tradition of European Christmas markets and having been to many of them as a voyeur in previous years I’m delighted to find myself on the other side of the market stall!
If that’s not enough to tempt you, St. Nicolas will be there!
Sunday 16 December :: Marché de Noël, Hotel Berger
Second Life Festival has been bringing fun events to Brussels for quite some time and they have excelled themselves this time with an amazing market innovation. Hotel Berger is still in the style of the original 1930’s hotel and each room has a unique design. Already cool, eh? Read on!
The idea with the Christmas market is that each vendor gets a different room and we have to deck it out with our goodies. I LOVE this idea! I’m planning on dressing up vintage style and playing some sweet vintage tunes in our room. There might even be a vintage sweet or two for lucky visitors between 12noon and 5pm.
We’d love to see you at one of the markets and drop me an email if you have any questions!
