The Belgian and I are’t especially interested in St. Valentines Day so Friday evening was a typical Friday night for us, although we did see the new Yves St Laurent film, which I highly recommend if you’re interested at all in fashion. On Saturday we visited the Museum of Letters and Manuscripts as a paper-love treat. Their current temporary exhibition, entitled “Je n’ai rien à te dire sinon que je t’aime: Love Letters” (I have nothing to tell you other than I love you: Love Letters), is an exploration of the history of love via snail mail and it’s glorious!
I’ll write a longer post on the letters and snail mail at a later date but to celebrate all thing paper I’m holding a Museum of Letters and Manuscripts giveaway! Yay! This is your chance to win entrance for two people to the museum and a little packet of postcards from both the museum and my own collection – it’s a paper-love giveaway!
There are three ways to enter (thus three chances to win for everyone!)
1) Follow my blog either via email or using wordpress.com by clicking on the little “follow+” icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
2) Share this post on Facebook, either making sure to tag @Bazaar so that I can keep track of your shares, or putting a link to your post in the comments below!
3) Share the images from this post on Instagram, tagging @Bazaarcollective.
The competition is open worldwide (keep in mind the museum is in Brussels, and what better excuse for coming to this beautiful city?!).
Entries close at 7pm (Brussels time UTC+1) on Thursday 20 February. The winner will be chosen at random that evening.
Wahey, bon chance!!
